Our People: Meet Our Life Enrichment Coordinator
Meet Sarah Marcum, our Life Enrichment Coordinator! Sarah has 26 years of experience planning and executing exciting activities for seniors. She has spent the past 18 years here at Liberty Ridge Senior Living. Sarah is married and the proud mother of 2 sons, Tyler (21) and Kobe (17). Sarah and her husband Raymond will celebrate 22 years of marriage this April.
Sarah enjoys cruises, movies, gardening, nature walks, and shopping. Sarah states “Being an activities director is the most fulfilling job I have ever experienced.” Sarah says, “Every day I am rewarded with big smiles, laughs and lots of encouraging words.” We are proud of Sarah and the residents are so happy she is a huge part of Liberty Ridge.
Our Life Enrichment Program
Another important part of life at Liberty Ridge that sets us apart from other senior living communities is Healthy Lifestyle, our life enrichment program. We believe that a healthy mind, body, and spirit are important parts of a fulfilling home. Led by Sarah Marcum, our staff really gets to know our residents, and we plan individualized and group programs with optional involvement, making a variety of opportunities available for our residents to pursue at their leisure.
We offer book clubs, cultural experiences, and trips to sites of interest to expand healthy minds, and provide accessible exercise programs, dances, and nature walks to promote healthy bodies. We also believe in supporting healthy spirits with opportunities for worship, volunteering, community service, and group support.
At Liberty Ridge, we partner with our staff and our residents to create meaningful opportunities to enjoy one another’s company and grow together in mind, body, and spirit.

Located close to I-75 and Hamburg Pavilion, our community is easily accessible and located on established grounds. Once you arrive, you will see that we differ from other facilities in the area, as we offer more than a concrete parking lot for our residents to view. Adorned with walking paths, seasonal flower gardens, and mature trees, our residents and their guests love to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings, and we hope you will, too.
