Welcome our New Resident - Rosemary Glenzy

Rosemary Glenzy grew up in Chaffee, Missouri along with 7 siblings.  She graduated high school and attended college at Gerdau College and later transfered to Southern Illinois University where she met her future husband, Gary Glenzy, also known as "Bear".

Rosemary earned a bachelor's degree in science and taught third grade for 32 years at Pinckneyville Elementary in Pinckneyville, Illinois.  Bear was the high school's famed coach, leading the football team  to two conference championships and the baseball team to a regional championship.  Rosemary rarely missed a game and loved her town's camaraderie.

The couple have one child, a daughter named Gena.  Bear passed away in 2003, when Gena was pregnant with thier only grandchild, Geona.  The loss hit the small town of Pinckneyville hard.  His funernal was attended by crowds of fans.

Rosemary eventually moved to Lexington to be near her daughter and granddaughter.  She loves to cook and bake.  Her greatest passion is her family and she enjoys ever moment spent with them.
