Welcome our New Resident - Betty Jane Murray
Betty Murray was born in German Village, Columbus Ohio along with three bothers. In 1946 Betty married the one true love, Jim Murray. The couple have three children: two daughters and a son.
Betty worked many years as the head baker at a high school in Columbus. Betty has a love for antiques and Jim's skill of woodworking led the couple to remodel many old homes. The most famous was the 1837 brick house in canal Winchester, Ohio. It was featured in tours of homes, newpaper articles, along with her garden and her husband Jim's skill of building cabinets and furniture. She has been featured in Redbook Magazine and on the cover of Country Living. The couple were very creative together and shared many crafting hobbies.
Betty lost her beloved Jim in 2005 after 59 years of marriage. Today, Betty enjoys crafts, games, and watching Wheel of Fortune and praticipating in church activities.
