Faith and Worship
Liberty Ridge is open to people of all faiths and our goal is to give HOPEto senior adults by offering quality housing and service in a caring Christian environment. As a non-profit ministry and mission of Eastland Church of God, Liberty Ridge is well established on a philosophy of ministry that promotes, protects, and provides for the needs of its residents.
We want everyone at Liberty Ridge to grow in their love for God and love for one another. We believe this happens as we share our faith in Christ and that the result is a dynamic quality of life, health, and purpose. That is why Liberty Ridge offers a well-rounded ministry to nurture the faith of our community and provides unique opportunities for everyone to grow in their faith.
Campus Pastor and Director of Pastoral Care
Liberty Ridge maintains a full-time Campus Pastor and Director of Pastoral Care that leads Heritage Church and provides pastoral care for everyone in the community. This includes hospital and nursing home visitation, as well as pastoral counseling for residents, family, and staff on site at Liberty Ridge. They also coordinate with Life Enrichment to provide specific times of worship and devotion for holidays and special occasions.
Heritage Church is a vibrant community of worship that meets every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on the Liberty Ridge campus. Developed and planted by Eastland Church as a multi-site location, it is designed to meet the spiritual needs of those within the Liberty Ridge Community. It features a traditional, non-denominational worship environment to provide a rich experience of Christian worship that is for anyone. The church is made up of residents, family members, staff, volunteer leaders and is filled with incredible opportunities for building relationships, celebrating your faith, and serving in the life of the church.
Each week Liberty Ridge offers several devotional opportunities for residents to choose from. These include prayer groups, Bible studies, song services, and fellowship times. Liberty Ridge also partners with volunteer leaders from local churches to provide ecumenical services and activities on an ongoing basis, as well as on special occasions such as Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
